These terms and conditions apply to all sales and purchases and were most recently updated on 01 July 2021. Quilts For Care Leavers (Q4CL) reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation to any dispute which may arise between them. All purchases from this site are fulfilled by Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx as a not-for-profit service on behalf of Q4CL from premises at Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. All funds are received directly by Q4CL and orders then sent to be fulfilled. If you have any queries regarding this or any order, please feel free to contact us by email for clarification.
How to Order
Orders can be placed online via our Shop pages. Please quote your full name and address when placing an order by email. You may pay by PayPal or by using your credit card via PayPal. Orders will be dispatched upon receipt of payment. We are not able to offer any terms of credit. All orders must be paid in full before goods will be dispatched.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours after order agreement. Delivery within the mainland UK is by Royal Mail or Collect+ courier. Should you fail to be present for your delivery and the package is returned to us, we are entitled to charge you for the cost of redelivery. For orders outside of the UK, carriage will be charged at cost, price available on application. Customs charges may be payable locally on orders sent outside of the UK.
We will not be deemed to be in breach of contract of these terms and conditions as a result of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations if that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood and other acts of God, strikes, riot, accident, disruption to energy supplies, civil commotion, acts of terrorism or war, breakdown of equipment or road traffic problems.
Damaged/Missing Goods & Returns
In the event of us supplying your order incorrectly, please contact us immediately by phone or email. Damaged or missing goods must be reported to us within 72 hours of receipt. Any faulty item will be replaced, or refunded (at our discretion). You have the right to cancel any contract that you have entered into with us for up to 14 days from receipt of your goods. All items returned must be in an unopened, unused condition, and returned to us at your cost within this period. If you have any comments or complaints about our service including the website, please email us.
We endeavour to have the items you want available for delivery as soon as you order them. If an item is out of stock we will contact you. We do not operate a back order system. Whilst we endeavour to verify the accuracy of any information we place on this website, we advise you to check the label or product packaging prior to use.
The prices quoted are correct at the time of display on the Q4CL website. Q4CL reserves the right to change prices at any time. In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Q4CL reserves the right to amend the amount due and will contact you directly to discuss.
If the postage for your items is significantly higher than the postage rate indicated due to the destination or the bulk/weight of the item being shipped we reserve the right to contact you with an amended rate and will only proceed with the order when you confirm that the amended amount is acceptable.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
