On Quality and Team Work: 80 pairs of hands contributed to our beautiful quilt show entry for 2023, known only as “Hug 4650 for a Care Leaver,” a nod to our quilt tracking system, and also the willingness of our members to put so much time in to making beautiful quilts for recipients that they will never even know. We were thrilled and proud to see that the quilt not only received a judges award, and first place in the group quilts section of the competition, but also Overall Champion.

A recent visit to care leavers and care experienced students starting at Manchester University
